How do you access the convertible top cylinder on a 1997 Chrysler Sebring?

remove the back seat by prying up on the front of the seat cushion, you will then expose 2 nuts holding your seatbeilt latches. remove them, and the seatback should easily pull upwards. the hydraulic pump is right there in the center, if you want to access the hydraulic rams that raise and lower the top there are screws in the side trim panels that you have to remove, and there are push in holders in the trim panels and around the speaker enclosures there are more screws that you have to remove. you also have to remove the trim piece that runs from the front dash to the rear seat areas to access another push in holder. the panel should come off fairly easy if you have removed all the holders.
