The stop light bulb is located in the rear window of the 2000 Altima. Hold the casing and pull it toward you to remove the casing and then you will be able to unplug the wiring and access the bulb.
Unless your Altima suffered body damage, you won't likely want to replace the entire light fixture. To replace a blown lightbulb in your taillight you have to access it from the trunk. Inside the trunk you will see an access panel for both tail lights. Remove the applicable panel and swap the bulbs out. Typical bulb installation involves the twisting (clockwise and the counter-clockwise) of the bulb 90 degrees when removing and then replacing it. Good luck!

The dash light bulb can be reached in a 2000 f 250 super duty XL by having access to the instrument panel. Remove the dashboard with a screwdriver and the dash light bulb will be accessible.

Simply look behind the light (from inside the trunk or under the hood), and you access the bulb from their. turn the backing of the bulb to release it and simply change the bulb. A simple fix.

go to back of headlight assembly and twist it out.
