If you want to access it remotely you will have to create rules in firewall allowing incoming connections at a specific port. If you have configured just bridged connection, only firewall rules have to be modified. If you run NAT configuration you will have to modify firewall rules as well create portforwarding to Linix VM using Virtual Network Editor.
You do not need to install PuTTY in Linux as there are built-in utilities that can do PuTTY's job (ssh, telnet)
PuTTY is a program for Microsoft Windows that allows you to control a computer running a Linux or Unix-based operating system via SSH using a command-line interface.
Most Unix/Linux servers allow SSH (via putty). There is no general one that anyone can use, however. You need to talk to your provider to see what is available to you.
you can use any program that supports ssh (secure shell) in windows you have putty and in mac os you use terminal to do that
I am assuming you mean either a POSIX shell or a way to SSH into a Linux box. A POSIX shell is as simple as installing MinGW, which will usually also provide BASH, usually for scripts. For SSH you can just use PuTTY and connect to your Linux box (Assuming it has an SSH server running.) that way.
Your question isn't exactly clear on whether you are trying to run a program on Linux or Windows, using one to control the other from a distance. If you are trying to control a Linux server from Windows, you can use a program called PuTTY to log into it remotely. If you are using Linux, a few Remote Desktop Protocol programs to control Windows are available.
Putty is not clay.
AdvantagesCooperative Linux allows the use of native Linux applications without having to switch operating systems, rebooting, or using more resource-consuming full virtualization solutions. It also ensures continued full compatibility with Windows applicationsCooperative Linux removes the problem of unsupported hardware like network adapters / modems, since they are mapped to Windows drivers.DisadvantagesAs Windows is still running, you do not gain the benefit of a more secure operating systemAs Windows drivers are still used, the system isn't any more stable.Using Cooperative Linux isn't seamless; it requires several additional applications like an X Server and PuTTy to access the running kernel and launch applications.Cooperative Linux does not currently support 64-bit Windows systems, which are becoming increasingly common.Cooperative Linux is somewhat difficult to adapt existing distributions to.As it only supports Windows 2000 and later, it isn't practical to use to adapt older computers that are still capable of Linux but came with Windows 98 or ME.
Putty was invented to Secure the Networks.

Mighty Putty will hold more weight than Silly Putty, as it is designed as a powerful bonding agent that can support heavy loads. Silly Putty is a malleable and stretchy toy that is not intended for holding weight.
