Use Safari, an app provided for free with every iPod Touch. It's a usable browser but it's as limited as you'd expect for such a small device. It does save your most recently used webpages and let's you have multiple pages open at once but it won't play flash video so many web videos won't work in Safari.
it is the web browser. if you have wifi go to safari on the ipod touch and surf the internet.
Make sure wifi is working and, if the facebook app isn't on the iPod, get it from the App Store. Alternatively use Safari to visit the Facebook web pages (with wifi working, obviously).
At this moment, the iPod does not have 3g capabilities. However, the iPod touch can access the internet without having 3g capabilities. As long as you have access to the internet, you can access the web through your iPod Touch.
If you want to text and surf the web wherever you want, you should get an iphone 3gs. There is an app called text plus, but it only lets you text over wifi. Ipod touch can surf the web only if there is wifi
Surf the web, FaceTime, text, make calls, play online multiplayer, etc.
Does the ipod touch have a web cam?
Of course not. If it uses wifi to connect, then you need wifi in the area to connect to the internet or use web utilities
