Can a Jehovah's witnesses date an atheist?

A true Jehovah's Witness would never date a non-Jehovah's Witness. JWs are taught that dating is for those who are ready for marriage. Marriage is a sacred bond that two like souls share and JWs only marry JWs or even date JWs because their lives revolve around what they are taught and when they date or marry a person who shares these same principles, ideals and beliefs it makes the relationship run extremely smooth and that much more enjoyable for both parties involved. For more information ask a Jehovah's Witness when you see them or go to your local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness' and ask anyone for more information on the matter. I hope this helped and I hope you find your answer.:-)

If your friend is a Jehovah's Witness and you aren't and you invite her over and she says no am I being mean or something?

Probably not. Being a Jehovah's Witness, I know that she is very religious, maybe she couldn't come over because she had to attend a meeting. I think she would have let you know if you were hurting her in some way. Hope this helps. :)

Rights of passage for jehovah's witness children?

There aren't any. As parents we simply try to see to it that our children get as much Bible instruction as possible, and hope they choose the right course when they reach adulthood.

Do Jehovah's Witnesses believe they can have my property after Armageddon?

As Witnesses believe that ''only Jehovah's Witnesses ...have any Scriptural hope of surviving the impending end of this doomed system dominated by Satan'' (Watchtower 1st Sept 1989 page 19) and assuming that the asker of the question is not and never becomes a Jehovah's Witness, then it is logical to assume that, after Armageddon, the asker would not be in a position to stop a Witness survivor of Armageddon from having the asker's property. In my experience I have heard some Witnesses express this view.

Is it appropriate to take up a collection for a Jehovah's witness who lost a loved one?

If you think it is appropriate then that's all that matters. Witnesses feel the loss of a loved one just the same as any one else....... Jehovah's witnesses have Resurrection hope...The judgement day is inevitable & very near..

How could a Jehovah witness know they could take communion?

Jehovah's Witnesses do not observe a rite called "communion". Once per year we celebrate the death of Christ that is called the "Memorial of Jesus' death", as Jesus instructed @ Luke 22:19 "Do this as a memorial of me". Jesus was there instituting the celebration with his 11 Apostles who rule with him in heaven. At the "memorial" we also observe the part of the "Memorial" where Jesus passed the "bread & wine". Are there any partakers? Yes. The scripture at Romans 8:14-17 in part says: "The spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are God's children", and...."heirs indeed of God". So only those whom the "spirit has borne witness" partake of the "bread & wine" emblems. It is a matter between them and Jehovah that they have the "heavenly calling" and therefore are of the "heavenly class" that Revelation 14:1-3 speaks of. Those who do not partake (the majority) have the hope of living forever on the earth after it is restored to paradise conditions described in Psalms 37:10 &11, also Revelation 21:3,4. For more info feel free to go to our official website JW.org. You can also read the Bible online there.

Do Jehovah's Witnesses eat bread and wine at the memorial of his death?

Yes, but proportionally very few. For example, in 2010 with over 18 million in attendance, only 11,202 actually ate the bread and drank the wine. This is because they believe those that do so are part of what scriptures refer to as a NEW COVENANT that entertain a heavenly hope, while the majority of Jehovah's Witnesses hope to live in Paradise on earth.

What is the Jehovah witness memorial mean?

The Jehovah's Witness Memorial is when Jehovah's Witnesses commemorate the death of Jesus. After a short public discourse based on the events of the last night of Jesus' life, bread and wine are passed among the attendees. It is the most important meeting in the Jehovah's Witness calender year and the only religious celebration they observe.

You are not a Jehovah Witness but your sister is and she is getting married are you allowed in the wedding party?

being a witness i hope i could answer that. this is up to your sister. if she thinks that you will be doing immoral things at her reception, then she will most likely not invite you. but, if she trusts you or if you come to some agreement that you will act somewhat christian like, then that is simply up to her conscience.
