You can use the Control Panel to install it.
Right click on bar , select lock taskbar to uncheck it. You can then hold left click and drag bar to any side.
1. Right click on your desktop and click personalize.2. Go to desktop background.3. there should be a bar with a few options such as stretch, tile, and keep dimensions.
On the desktop, right-click and select "Add panel."
Is this a VISTA question? :-) Right click on it and you should be able to close it.

If you have Vista, you click on the network icon on thestart bar and click add network or something like that.
Windows side bar
Hold down the cntl key and drag the icon to the quick launch bar. This will copy the icon. If you don't hold the cntl key it will move the icon to the quick launch bar.
First create a shortcut of the program on your Desktop. (Right click on the program icon and navigate to Send to > Desktop) Now go to the Desktop and simply drag the shortcut to the Task Bar.
