- Install the code manager.
- Insert the Action Replay game cartridge into your Nintendo DS and turn it on.
- Plug one end of your USB cable into your Action Replay cartridge and the other end into your computer.
- Find the code you are looking for and open up the "Notepad" program on your computer.
- Copy and paste the code into your Notepad program.
- Click on "File" and then "Save as."
- Type in the file-name you want to save the code under. This is the only thing you will change in the boxes.
- For this step, your Action Replay has to be on, and your DS connected to the computer with the Action Replay manager open. Open the file you saved your Action Reply Code in and right click it. Select "copy."
- Go to the left screen of your Action Replay manager. Right click on the column that lists the Action Reply codes and select "paste."
