The short smart aleky answer is, you don't. The Solara air conditioner uses a product called R134a (technical name Tetrafluoroethane) which replaced R-12 (Freon) in the early 1990's. Now the non smart aleky answer. There are consumer friendly recharge kits available at almost all auto supply stores. The consist of a hose and a can of R134. You attach the hose to your air conditioning system per the included instructions, attach the hose to the can and begin the process. The problem with most simple home kits is you don't really know when the system is fully charged or whether you need another half can or whole can or?. There's also no way to determine why your R134 leaked out in the first place (it should be a totally closed system, no leaks). Some auto supply stores may have a more complete system with gauges to tell you when the system is fully charged but it may be less expensive and simpler just to take your car to a professional with the tools and expertise needed to do the job correctly. By the way if 'all' of your refrigerant has leaked or been released for some reason the entire system has to be evacuated of all moisture. That takes a special vacuum pump. You won't be able to try this one at home. Cheers
When you are going to add Freon to a Toyota Camry, you need to know which type to add. You will need to put the Freon recharging coupler to the recharging kit, and get the engine to operating temperature. When the engine is at operating temperature put the air conditioning on the lowest setting and recharge the Freon with the windows of the car rolled down.
