After releasing the pressure by turning the bolt on the side of the pump, use a 5mm hex wrench to undo the bolt on the top of the pump. It is the only bolt that is silver and does not have wires attached to it. The fluid goes into that hole, using a syringe and/or tubing.
"MOST" cars have power steering that relys on a hydraulic pump driven by the Engine via a belt. If the hydraulic fluid leaks out, the belt breaks, or the pump wears out the car will be hard to steer
The dipstick for the hydraulic fluid is hard to see straight on. If you stand behind the tractor and look behind the right arm of the three point hitch you will see a yellow dipstick. The dipstick is scored on either side to indicate min and max levels,
Well I today anwsered my own question all it needed was hydraulic fluid. In the back of the convertible there should be a black rubber plug all you do is get any type of hydraulic fluid( make sure the hydraulic fluid in the back says mixs with any hdraulic fluid) you pour it in the cylinder shape in were you took out rubber plug make sure it over flows and plug it back in and your done your top should now go up way faster, smother, and nice.
Found it. This Manual transmission has a hydraulic clutch. The fluid resevoiri s on the firewall by the wheel well. Low fluid causes sticky/ hard shifting. Very low fluid cause no shifting. After filling with recommended DOT 3 brake fluid all is well. Except where the old fluid leaked out.
Check the fluid in the clutch master cyl if it is hydraulic.
the likage and cables probably need some lube a dragging clutch will make it grind when trying to put in gear also if the clutch is hydraulic operated, it may be low on hydraulic fluid due to a leak in the system.
hydraulic brake system calculations
If you have a hydraulic clutch you may just need to add fluid.
It is a hydraulic clutch. An excess of fluid in the system will cause it to be hard to pull back. Either that, or you need to lift some weights so that you won't notice.
Have the tranny fluid changed out and replace the filter. Fresh fluid may fix the problem. Especially if it is the original fill from the factory.
My door slam to hard.
you will see some smoke and it will be hard to turn
