In Windows 95, Windows XP (with Internet Explorer 7 or later installed), and later, they are not the same thing. In Windows 98, 2000, Me, and XP (with Internet Explorer 6), Internet Explorer is integrated with Windows Explorer.
Internet Explorer XP can not be downloaded. Updates for it can be downloaded on the Microsoft website. Newer versions of Explorer can be downloaded on the Microsoft website as well.
Sorry, E10 cannot be installed on XP. IE8 is the highest version of Internet Explorer that's compatible with XP.
Except Internet Explorer 9, Windows XP support All other version of IE from version 1 to version 8.Internet Explorer 9 can run on the Vista and Windows 7.Internet Explorer 9 : http://www.downloadatoz.com/download/108962,internet-explorer-9.html
windows 7 has internet explorer 8, which is available for windows xp and vista as well.
This probably because windows xp is an old windows and runs quite slowly and Windows 7 is up-to-date and can run much faster. Another reason may be, because your Internet explorer on xp is not up-to-date (Internet explorer 8 is the newest) and the windows 7 already has Internet explorer on it. You might want to update the Internet explorer on the xp.
IE 6.0
No you have to use Internet Explorer 8, 9 is only for Windows Vista and 7.
Windows XP shipped with Internet Explorer 6, so there is no copy of Internet Explorer 5 on the system. Try running the application in Compatibility Mode to see if that fixes the problem.
Version 7 most likely. Switch to Firefox though - more reliable and much safer than IE. Answer: Windows Vista provide internet explorer 7.0. but you can download and install IE 8
XP
Anything from Internet Explorer 6 to Internet Explorer 8. If you do not want to have your computer get slowed down by cookies, etc., use Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, because Internet Explorer can really mess your computer up.
