do it with Windows Movie Maker
On the top menu (where there is file, edit, view, etc...) click on "Insert" (a list will drop down), then "movies and sounds", then click "sound from file". A new window will open up with your documents and files. Simply find the music file you want to add and then choose ok, or double click it.
You download some music and then when you click o the slideshow button you canhave the selection of "add background music".
click on that and browse.
then click on the music you downloaded and you will the have music in the slide show.

you can use clipart to insert media files by going to the tab insert and on the far right you click on audio, you can choose from clipart or file. the file can import songs and other stuff. i hope this answers you question.
What you can do is put as much audio as you can at once, then save it. After you save it, open up movie maker and import that video you made. The previous audio you put on will now be put on the 'audio from video' section. Then, add more audio the same way.
on the top toolbar, choose home, and on the left there should be a blue music note. underneath will say "add music". then click on the music note and choose your song. the song you choose should go on for the whole time.
Um for windows movie maker I click on import and then select music.
