Music that you drop into a movie can be clicked on and deleted in the timeline. If the music is in the video, you cannot easily remove it without also removing dialogue and other sounds. Try inserting a noise gate into the audio track to mute the sound when it falls below the level of the dialogue.

2. From there you should, by clicking on iTunes, be able to access your itunes library.
3. Drag and drop onto the timeline.
You should not be downloading music on the internet to drag into iMovie. You should be on Napster or iTunes where you can legally buy the music to drag into iMovie.

You can attach it or just play it while you shoot the video. Using iMovie, you would select music from your itunes library on the bottom right, dragging it over to your movie.
