This is with windows xp but will probably work on windows 7 and mac. First click on your iPod icon and and the bottom of the screen, check manually manage music and videos. Then create a new playlist under your ipod icon and drag songs into it. With manual mode you will not need to sync it so just take it out and all the songs you wanted on it should be there!
Yes, but the next time you sync your iPod with iTunes they will be erased from your iPod.
plug your ipod to the computer, open itunes, select Music and manually transfer the song to the ipod
easy! you make a playlist then make it so your ipod only syncs songs to it from thhat play list then just drag music you want into that playlist and your done"/
Yes, put your iPod in manual mode in iTunes and you can select what content you'd like to put on it.
See links to Apple.com
It does that because your ipod is full and can't hold anymore songs it it deletes other songs everytime you add on more song.
Don't sync your iPod when you are deleting your music. Also, once you delete something from your iTunes and it's on your iPod, then when you sync it again, the songs will be lost because you deleted the original file. So if you want to have no songs, you can delete all your library, or you can shorten your music to save some of your laptop memory.
This ipod manage software can transfer the files from ipod to computer, ipod to iTunes, and iPod to iPod: http://www.ipodtransfer.net/how-to-transfer-ipod-file-with-ipod-transfer-software.html
No i have tried it and it deletes all your songs
I've tried to do that and it doesn't work. A box will come up and say something like "by doing this, you will be erasing all the songs from your itunes library and transferring new ones." You just hit cancel and immediately unplug your ipod even if it says "syncing: do not disconnect." I'm pretty sure that if you want someone else's songs from the same computer or any computer, you have to burn a disk.
You Can't But You can put the songs on your ipod onto itunes then put them delete them And then sync ipod with itunes. then you will get them back and you will get then new ones to. i hope that answers your question.
You can download music without losing songs. Unless your iPod doesn't have any more room for music. You can download songs from iTunes. You can buy songs form the Apple store or you can download songs from a CD. You can put music on your ipod by dragging the song(s) to the little iPod logo, located on the right hand side of the iTunes menu.
