The envelope will have your return address in the upper left corner or sometimes on the back flap of the envelope. The outer envelope should include formal names of the guests with their address on the front of the envelope. On the inside envelope, you can use the guests first names.
* The address and date go on the invitation only. The little card should only have '_______________and ______ guest. When answered it should appear as Mr & Mrs. John Doe will be attending (and if single) Mr. (or Ms.) John/Jane Doe and guest will be attending. If a guest is coming alone they will only put their own name and no other. On the envelope that goes with this card (to be returned to you) your address should be on it and it should have a stamp placed on the envelope.
In the RSVP card where the guest ticks off if they are coming as well as a guest and a child (you could put a note inside to assure them a guest is welcome and also the child as many weddings prefer children do not attend the reception.) Address the main envelope to your single friends such as: Ms. Jane Doe.
