I am not aware of factory airbags on any Ford Super Duty so I will assume they are aftermarket installed in the rear . Likely Firestone, maybe Airlift.
Whoever installed the bag kit should have mounted a schrader valve somewhere (looks like the valve on your tires to add air). Popular spots to install are on the rear bumper, maybe inside the bed up under one of the bed rails, in a wheel well or maybe inside the fuel fill door.
Locate the valve and fill with a compressor from there. I believe the max is around 100psi for most of these bags. Also never run drive the truck with less than about 15psi in them or damage to the bags can occur.
If a compressor kit was installed, then there should be a switch and guage on the dash somewhere to inflate/deflate. When you fit the inflate switch, you should hear the compressor kick in otherwise it's not working and will need to be checked.
unplug the leveling valve from bottom side it has a clip on push to the side and pull out you must have the vehicle runing when you do this the leveling valve is located close to the rear left air bag it looks like a small shock with a acordion ruber cover push the bottom of it up and hold this will turn on the compresor and fill both bags up when they rise almost to the fullest conect leveling valve back yhen they will let the air out when it finishes it will be leveld its almost like reseting both bags good luck
I don't believe the 1994 Ford Ranger has air bags My 1995 Ford EXPLORER was the 1st model year that had passenger and driver air bags / SRS / Supplemental Restraint System when Ford redesigned it ( generation 2 )
As far as I know until the 1995 Ford Explorer ( referred to as generation 2 ) the Ford Explorer did not have any air bags
According to my Chilton repair manual , the Ford EXPLORERS did not have air bags (SRS) available until the 1995 model .
no
It is Illegal to remove air bags from any vehicle.
According to the 1996 Ford Contour Owner Guide : The Supplemental Restraint System ( SRS / air bags ) has ( 2 air bags ) One for the driver and one for the right front passenger
Yes, the 1998 Ford-F150 truck did come with standardized dual air bags, though finding additional air bags to fit that model is difficult these days.
Supplemental Restraint System ( air bags )
2000
No they are different.
I believe it was in 1995 when Ford came out with what is referred to as the second generation of the Explorer (Helpfull)
