I am adjusting the steering clutches on a 350B 1975 JOHN DEERe right now.
I found the instructions with pictures on the web last year but can't find it again.

its a tension pulley there is no adjustments.
Take the bolt out of the bottom and use a pully puller to get it off.

The closest answer I could find was for a regular 1010 crawler without the dozer blade, which weighs 6900 lbs [or 3129 kg].

On a John Deere Model A (with the tractor not running), start by removing the dust cover from the clutch with a flat head screwdriver. You should see three nuts holding the clutch mechanism together. Tighten these three nuts equally and check how well the clutch works often after you have tightened a little ways. There should be a distinctive "pop" when you snap the clutch in or out. After you are content with the how the clutch works replace the dust cover. This adjustment should help prevent clutch slippage in most cases but for more information on adjustment and possibly rebuilding, I recommend you buy a repair/service manual along with an operator's manual.
The steering is accomplished by a multi-disc slip clutch on each side's final drive, which is spring-applied and gradually released as you pull back on the lever. At the end of the stroke a band brake applies to fully stop the output to the track and brakes the track. Common problems are adjustment problems, fixed by opening the cover and adjusting the pressure plate tension or band brake adjustment. Another issue is rust or corrosion locking up the disks so you can't stop one side or the other without pulling the engine down. Also, the main clutch can go out too.
