You have to click "adopt a baby squid" when one of your friends posts it up for adoption.
You can't buy a female squid. You must save one. An orphan notification will pop up sometimes when you go to your aquarium asking if you want to save an orphan. When this happen post it. and your friends will be able to adopt it. You may not adopt your own. You have to adopt one from a friend.
No, you can't adopt any animals you rescue in Happy Aquarium or other games like Happy Aquarium.
Now the Happy Aquarium store is offering blue male squids for 623 coins. It is under the Special star tab. You can mate them for 312 coins. You cannot adopt them, only buy.
Your happy aquarium neighbors post them for adoption
Well, first one of your friends has to find one. If they find one and then publish it to their page, when you see it in the bottom right hand corner there will be a button that says "adopt the squid!" When you see it, click on it. It will then take you to your Happy Aquarium page and should say something like, "YaY! You gave the Squid a home!" or, if someone has beaten you to it, (sorry) but it will tell you that it has already been adopted. :D
You have to get it from on of your friends posting it on their feed.
Another golden squid.
Well, to adopt an animal for Happy Aquarium you would need to go to your friends' walls (that plays Happy Aquarium) and check if they have any recent animals for adoption, because if it isn't recent, it might already be adopted.
