Talk about one incident that troubled or challenged you. Perhaps a baby's death affected you. Perhaps you felt angry that health insurance prevented you from helping a patient or neighbor in need. Perhaps you made a mistake that you still regret -- make sure to say what you learned and what changes you made to prevent a similar mistake.
If they ask you in an interview how you handled your most challenging experience in your previous job if you do not have any experience in a job, you should be honest. Indicate that you do not have experience but also tell them how you would handle a challenging situation in the cause of duty.
You want to give an example that is professional when answering this question. You do not want to mention challenging co-workers, bosses, or management. Instead, focus on projects or assignments.
I handled my most challenging experience in my previous job through self confidence, deep thinking and gathering possible alternatives and choose what best option is. But I must not expect that this alternative I came up with will work faultlessly. I made my decision on that challenging situation and it end up a failure, but that doesn't deject me from there instead I keep on moving forward and realizing what lesson I've learned from that failure. And so I stood up again, doing what I can and of course with others consultancy just to coup with the challenges. For no man is an island.
# Are you a people-person? # Do you have good communication skills? # How do you manage situations of stress? # Can you handle pressure at work? # Describe a challenging experience you had with a customer service representative and how you handled the situation. My last job was an executive assistant of a British engineering firm. There were 10 british nationality managers. Most were very nice, but a few were very naive to us FIlipinos. Whether or not they were nice, everyone had an opinion as to how I should be doing my job. Depending on the person and the relationship with that person, someone got dificult to come up to, I tried to be diplomatic, use humor, etc. Fortunately, I had a boss who is married to a Filipina, therefore he knew and somewhat familiar with Filipino characteristics. He encouraged me to come talk to him when other managers became disrespectful when asking a favor or task to do so and he'd help me handle things.
I can handle this interview in very alertness and self confident.
