On a job application, it is best to be truthful about one's weaknesses if asked. In the interview, talk about the weakness, but also be ready to explain how it will be possible to overcome it.
This is a tough one. I always try to lighten the mood just a little by saying "well, I haven't discovered all of them yet but..." and then I try to be as truthful as I can without being too damaging. Some examples might be I need to improve my math skills (unless you are applying for an accountant job) or maybe I am working on my time management skills and trying to fit more into each day without adding to the chaos. Stuff like that. But you need to stick to the truth. So figure out what your weaknesses are and then write them down and figure out how to explain them in a short, concise manner and what you plan to do to improve them. That is what the interviewer is really looking for. Do you recognise your weaknesses and do you have a plan to try and improve upon them.
Be honest, the interviewer is looking to see if you are self aware or conceited. Follow up with how you overcome your weakness, so that the interviewer will see how you cope with adversity.
