How do you answer a question on an interview 'what can you offer us if hired'?

When an employer asks this sort of question, they want to hear your ideas about your own strengths and assets. You should have already done some research into the company before the interview, so that you know what sorts of things you would be doing on this job. You can then give the employer a short (a minute or two) description of what things you can do well, what skills you have worked hard on, what experience has taught you that will be useful on this job, and what positive character traits you have. For example, if you were applying for a job with my pharmacy, you might say "I have very good people skills. My last two employers always asked me to take care of any grouchy customers because I am good at calming them down. I will be able to work whatever hours you need because I graduated last month. I hardly ever take sick days, and I got an award on my last job for most overtime worked. I enjoy working with people, and I think I will be good at helping make sure the customers get their medication, and helping them with insurance and other problems. I am an optimistic person by nature, and am good at keeping calm in a crisis. I think I have a lot of good skills to offer your company."

The question I remember most was that we were given 2 minutes to draw what the back of an average computer looked liked and label the parts we could. This was to get us thinking about how a customer would describe their phones or other electronics to us when on the phone. Then the one conducting the interview asked around half the group to leave and offered a job to the rest of us providing we passed the drug test. They had use use a saliva drenched swab and a test strip. There really wasn't much to it. If you have basic computer skills and could pass a drug test you were hired.
