Care of Sprains and Strains 1. Keep the injured limb elevated as much as possible for 24-48 hours. 2. Apply ice imtermittently every hour, for the first four hours. Do not apply ice for more than 15 minutes at a time. 3. Do not put your full weight on a lower limb injury for first 24 hours, especially if it causes pain. 4. Before applying a tensor bandage, the limb should be elevated for several minutes. 5. A tensor bandage should be applied snugly from below the injury upwards, and loosened if swelling, numbness, discoloration, pain, or coolnessdevelops below the injury. A tensor bandage should be removed at night. *Tensor bandages do not usually affect the rate of healing, but provide support and serve as a reminder to protect the injured area. 6. Bruising may appear a few days after an injury, and may appear below the injured site. 7. Sprains and strains take time to heal. See your family doctor and/or return to the hospital in 3-5 days if pain or swelling persists. * Your doctor may prescribe different forms of pain medication for you. Follow instructions for taking these medications carefully. If you have any questions or concerns about your medication, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
take 2 white tensor bandages and use permanint marker and draw X's on them.
Compression bandages are used to apply pressure to the area that it is healing. The pressure that is applied by the bandage helps prevent swelling and edema.
A zero tensor is a tensor with all entries equal to zero.
Yes. Go to a local pharmacy and get the largest tensor bandages depending on the size of the female you may need 2 and some safety pins this should work!!!!
tensor.
velocity is contravariant tensor becasue displacement tensor is contravariant.
Stress is a tensor because it affects the datum plane. When this is affected and it changes, it is then considered a tensor.
I'm not entirely sure, but I think the tensor contraction over these two tensors should give back the identity. For example: If the resistivity tensor is a 2x2 matrix, then the conductivity tensor is the inverse of this matrix.
Lay the person down and elevate their head and feet above the heart. then apply gauze with pressure to stop the bleeding and apply bandages.
Actually all bandages can be dangerous if you pull them to tight or if you apply tem int the wrong spots
You may apply gels or ointments. You can also cover it with bandages.
Use sterile bandages and apply direct pressure to the area.
