I approach doing tasks I dislike by putting them in a larger context. What purposes do these tasks serve? Do I really want to be doing them? What is my motivation to do them? How will doing them be helpful to me in accomplishing my goals and being my best?

When I know that what I am doing is in line with the bigger picture of what I really want in my life, then I feel much better about doing those tasks.

I break the task into smaller, manageable steps to make it less overwhelming. I also try to focus on the end goal or the positive outcomes of finishing the task. Sometimes using techniques like rewards or setting time limits can help motivate me to get through it.
