No not at all, both of my schnauzers were extremely easy to train. Mind you, you MUST be consistent otherwise any dog you get will be hard o train.
You must be referring to Richard Trevithick. He is not the only "inventor" of the train, but is one inventor with contributions to trains. He built one successfully in 1803 and demonstrated it in Wales in 1804. His contribution to steam locomotives was his invention of the more efficent high pressure system.
