well,it depends on how long she has been gone for,if she is an indoor cat or not and if you live in a town.Try putting some of her favourite food out then calling her name.
Or you could call a number where if they have found your cat as described you may take it home.
If the cat has been gone more than a week i would worry as it could be somewhere hurt!
good luck of finding your cat!
If you live in a neighborhood where you have friends, contact them and ask them if they have seen him/her. Ask neighbors and surrounding neighbors.
If the cat has any favorite treats keep those outside during the day (not at night!) and occasionally shake the food bowl.
Walk around the neighborhood and physically search. This is easier if you get a group of people to help so you can cover a wide area. Take treats with you. Be sure to look in the usual spots that your cat goes
Check the all local veterinarians' office and local shelters (especially if your cat has been microchipped) to see if anyone has found the cat.
Put up posters. Lots of them.
Also, I'd like to add that cats sometimes like to roam, and someday your cat might come back to you.
Cats are very independent, and there is no real way to lure it back home. However, despite their independent nature, cats do know where home is, and it is likely to come sauntering back home once they have tired of life on the outside.
The best way to find your stray cat is to look for him at night, when the streets aren't so crowded and he is more likely to be prowling. Place an ad in the paper to have others looking out for him. Make a bed box by your garage that will invite him to stay near home. Cats rarely go to far from home.
try making sounds you think will attract her or if that doesn't work get 2 people and go on each side of her so she cant run away.
I would suggest leaving cat food outside your house on the doorstep.
Put food out
One way to get the cat to come up to you is give it a treat.
yes cats will come home i had a catZiggy who left we assumed that he want away too die but years later he did come back but he wasn't our cat anymore
Yes it is possible. If the cat had a really good caring home and was separated from that home by 7-10 miles there is no way that cat is not going to find it's way back.
The answer is no there is no such thing as a River Cat. By the way, How did you EVEN come up with that name? ^^
probably. she just needs some time and space.
I love you... come home soon....
yes
It's called "Kitty Kat Mix" by 1000 Clowns.
How to teach cats to come: Hide a handful of treats in your pocket, about 5. Every time your cat comes to you, give it a treat. Continue to do this, but when your cat comes, say come. Eventually, your cat will know the trick.
my cat didn't come home one night and when we woke up i was so worried. i looked round and then a woman came round and said she ran over it. i was so sad. he had broke four legs and its spine. it was in pain so we put it to sleep!
There is no way to tell if a female cat has been neutered excepting surgery. Obviously a neutered cat will not come into season.
A neighbor says that my cat is bullying her cat. She has threatened to capture him and drop him off in the country in a place where there is no way for him to find his way home. What are my rights?
