You don't need to look cool. Other people's opinion's shouldn't matter, you should go by what YOU think is cool. But the real answer to this question is, be YOURSELF! If people make mean opinions about you, don't listen to them! They don't matter! Just be yourself, do what you like, I know you can make very good friends that accept you just the way you are.
