your not suposed to really give them a bath u get dust form a pet store for them to roll in that is made just for them and they roll in it and get cleaned. give it a box of sand then it will roll in it when it feel dirty, too much water on a chinchilla could kill it cause the fur might keep it from drying and it could get to cold and die cause of water, a chinchilla need to be look after real carefully, they take sand bath by themself
To bathe a guinea-pig you just fill your sink up with warm water according do your guinea-pigs size.Wet them but DO NOT get it in their ears it will cause infection. After they are wet(not the face) wash their body with baby shampoo i recommend johnsons. Then was her/him off and make sure the soap is completely washed out otherwise itm will cause skin irritationa. Then dry her with a towel. One last tip DO NOT bathe guinea-pigs at night, they will get a fright and they will not have time to dry off.
you can fill a small tube with warm water and wet them let them get used to the water first then put some soap in your hand and rub it down him or hers back baby soap is best because it help their fur and it doesnt burn also NEVER get the soap near their eyes ---------
then rinse them carefully and dry them with a towel and you can wrap them up and theyll get very fluffy and they get sleepy just sitting their so i hope this help
