It is not necessary to bathe your hermit crabs but if you would like to bathe them, this is what I do:
-fill a container with enough dechlorinated water to fully submerge your largest crab.
-Place the crab in the water upside-down
-Leave the crab in the water for two minutes.
Don't leave it in the water for too long or it will drown. Once you place the crab in the water upside-down, it will flip itself over and begin walking around or just sit there.
I dont think you need to but if you do just put it in water and rub it.
None. They can do it for themselves.
Yes, hermit crabs don't usually fight. You could give the new hermit crab a bath so that it smells the same as the other hermit crab in you tank.
yes, but if you supply water and there is enough for them to completely submerge in they will bath themselves as they feel needed.
a hermit crab
you don't need to bath them because they take a bath themselves. i think you only do that once a week if they didnt do it. just dip them in water...
What is a Hermit Crab's predator?
It's term 'hermit' is not because it doesn't like other hermit crabs. The hermit crab actually loves being with other hermits. It is called hermit crab because it is only one hermit crab in the shell. It's term 'hermit' is not because it doesn't like other hermit crabs. If it is a hermit crab, then it is like any other hermit crab, so just take care of it as you would to a regular hermit crab :)
yes you can. only you have to use very very shallow water!
