my ferrets hate baths, but what i do is my sink has a sprayer on it so i can hold them, i make sure the water is luke warm, do not get it to hot then i rinse them off once, i use no more tears baby shampoo and soap them up, i don't get any near their eyes then rinse and dry well.
some ferrets will actually play in the bath tub in 3inches or less of water
EDIT: Since ferrets are generally clean animals, it is unnecessary to bathe them more than once or twice a year. Doing so more often causes the skin to dry out and the skin oil glands to overproduce and make the ferret smell.
with very little water and spetial soap but only wash your ferret once every 5 months because other wise they can get distressed ( belive me! i know!)
It depends on what type of glue it is. Bathe your ferret with mild baby shampoo or ferret shampoo
Look up videos on youtube to see how to properly bathe one.
No it is not. A lot of the ferrets scent comes from oil produced by its skin. Bathing the ferret too often causes the skin to produce more oil to replace the oil it lost from being washed. The more you bathe your ferret, the more oil their skin produces, the more they smell. A ferret should only be bathe 2-3 times a year with special ferret shampoo.
Actually you don't have to bathe your ferret unless he's really dirty. Advise from another contributor Use a very diluted baby shampoo it makes them smell good and it doesn't hurt if it gets in there eyes(:
