Nonono, do NOT submerge your Flute in water. It will get into the pads and ruin them. Getting all your pads replaced is super pricey. Clean your flute off on the inside with a cleaning rag and rod, which you can get at any music store, and shine the outside with a polishing rag. If you don't want it to rust in between the little areas you can't reach, you can get it cleaned at a repair shop if you think it's worth it. Do not try to wash it.
