DO NOT PUT A HAMSTER IN WATER! It could get sick and possibly die. If you want to bathe a hamster, go to the pet store and get chinchilla sand, not dust, and put a little pit in a bowl and place it in you hamsters cage then it will clean itself.

- 2 small rags
- a cup of warm water
- 1 big towel
- hamster treats
First, you will need to pull you hamster out of his cage and put him on the big towel with some treats. Second, wet your rag and gently wipe your hamster with it. If you are removing ticks add a bit of unflavored Listerine to the rag. After he/she is moist, take the dry rag and dry him/her as much as you can. When cleaning him/her, try to keep the water away from his/her eyes and nose. If your hamster is bathed improperly he/she might become sick. Make sure your hamster stays warm well you are bathing it.
