First you must finish the game. (Worlds 1-8) Then you'll get a postcard of Luigi who's now trapped. You will now be able to play the special world levels (Worlds S1-S8) Finally, finish Special world 1 and save Luigi. You will now be able to play as Luigi by pressing the Luigi logo at the bottom right of the bottom screen. (You may also change back into Mario whenever you want!)
