The final circuit requires much practice to win. Other racers on the track are only obstacles to avoid the real challenge is beating the rocket racer. To do this you must use as many boost type power ups as possible. To win you'll need to be using some type of boost more than 50% of the time so make sure to collect green and white bricks during a boost, as this seems to be the most efficient strategy. There is also one useful short cut: on the portion of the track that splits into a circular detour there is a large metal door. If you time your laps correctly you can enter it in the brief time that it opens. Inside is a portal that gives you an instant hyper-boost to a further point in the track. Using this does not get rid of any power up you currently hold, so another boost can be done immediately after reappearing.
you need to find the shortcuts on the tracks one is in the cave
