Complex Answer: it really depends on the way the chemical is absorbed... if it is fat soluble or water soluble. if fat soluble... good luck, it may show trace amounts in your system for month(s), if water soluble it will stay in your system for a shorter period of time, you may be able to flush your system with large amounts of water... but [warning], most tests are extremely sensitive, so trace amounts will be detected!
