well, I really don't know what to do but, i will give you my one answer. Hint: when you get in, there should be a blue thing that asks you to stand in it. When you get in it, you have to face a challenge. When you beat that challenge under water, the blue thing moves back recovering a hole. Step into that hole and there you go!! You just got your self into a Fire Sea. Well now I can only tell you that you have to beat him some way, some how. GOOD LUCK!

Beat Bowser there) to get the key for the bottom floor. Then go to the bottom floor. Right at the entrance there is a big star door. Enter, and get the first star in Course 9 (its right in front of you. You know, the big puddle). Then a hole will appear. Jump in the hole and that leads to the fire sea. If your talking about "Lethal Lava Land", follow the instructions above but keep walking down the path and find the painting with the scary-looking hand that looks like fire. Hope this helps!
