Ikana Castle is a really big puzzle with a fairly easy boss
just use fire arrows to burn the curtains revealing light to use
defeat an enemy then use the mirror shield to cast light on them
Stone Tower
At first you'll know something is amiss with this dungeon as there appears to be an upside-down walkway
then at what appears to be the end of the temple you'll hear that you must use light arrows outside on the blood red 'target'
next you'll flip and the world(limited to stone tower and stone tower temple) is upside-down
here is the tricky part, you have to finish the temple upside-down
the boss is fairly easy if you have upgraded magic from the fairy of snowhead
just use the giant's mask and slash either of the worms' tails onc eone is down its far easier just remember to keep your magic up or you'll face impossible odds to win

What does the Garo's Mask do on majoras mask?
You need the mask to enter ikana, the mountain region. If you don't have it, the poe salesman won't let you pass. Garo's mask also allows you to find Garo Robes, which are ancient spies that have been watching the royal family of Ikana. By defeating them, they give you hints about what to do. Thirdly, donning the mask around redead (the zombies) or gibdos (the mummies) will make them dance in place. Not only is this fun to watch, it also allows you to slip by without a fight.
