Team Galatic is fightable in Eterna Forest but u only need to fight one or two. There is no need to fight them though seeing as there is no real storyline for Etena Forest except that u get Cherryl in your team and that it leads to Eterna City. All the Pokemon in there r very easy to beat unless your team is crowed with water pokemon.

you MUST beat the snow point gym leader to get the key. After you beat the snowpoint gym leader you go to the Team Galactic warehouse located right of the veilstone shopping center and battle and beat a team galactic guy.
