Inside the Sphinx there are four challenges :

The Scorpion Pit

You will you reach a series of dashes on the wall ( -|-- ) . When you click on one, the other three rotate by 90°. So press the first, third, and fourth lines (-) exactly once and they will all line up (----). This allows you to take the upper path and avoid the scorpion.

The Matching Blocks

You match the blocks to the diagram on the floor. The blocks atop the slab are in the order 2, 4, 3, 1. To arrange the blocks to match the diagram, do the following :

  1. Push the first block off to the left, and well to the left along the floor
  2. Push the second block off to the left, then right to the matching #4 spot on the floor diagram
  3. Push the third block off to the left, then right into #3 against the #4 block on the floor
  4. Bring the #2 block on the floor over from where you left it, into #2 spot
  5. Push the final block off to the left and into the #1 position, completing the diagram

If you push one wrong, use the reset button. To reach the exit, push one or more blocks to the left to jump from.

The Falling Blocks

When you climb down the rope and reach the chamber, the floor will collapse. There is a rope to get back up. You are back at the four hieroglyphics in the entryway. Remember the 4 symbols in ascending order (man, wavy sea, bird, eye) and jump on only those blocks, one block in each row. For example, only the big-head man in the first row, only the wavy sea on the second. When you reach the top, jump quickly to the rope.

The Sand Room

For the last puzzle, there are 2 big statues and 4 little statues. Each little statue has dots on its belly (one dot, two dots, 3 , and 4). The switches each drop a little statue, but the room will begin to fill with sand. You must drop the staues in order (1 dot, 2 dots, 3, 4) before the sand covers the switches. The small mummy case opens to reveal the Blue Jewel.
