How do you beat the last mission on Grand Theft Auto 4?

It seems that many people have difficulty in getting the Sanchez up to speed when driving around the shoreline. When I first tried the mission, I found that was hard and failed the first time because I couldn't get up the speed and keep good control for a jump. Luckily I had kept the Sanchez which had become available to me in a previous mission, and so went back to that a practised like mad. It did work, and I completed the end mission successfully. I know there are other reasons why people find the end mission, difficult, but I mention the Sanchez in case the advice is of use to anyone.

You have to kill all of the gangs in Los Santos in order to reveal where Big Smoke is hiding. I am warning you that this will probably take like 5 days to do. This is also probably the longest mission ever on grand theft auto.(Los Santos Vagos)(Rollin Heights Ballas)
