How do you beat the wolf on the bridge on Vampire's Curse island?

Walk to the left side of the bridge, where there's a wood log that holds it up. Click on that, and your avatar will cut the rope, and the bridge will fall. The wolf will get knocked off, and the bridge will become a set of stairs.
The wolf jumps at you 4 times: once from the cave, once at the tree (swing the branch), once on the vines (you fall back down), and finally at the rope bridge. Get close to the bridge and click on the support rope (the pole at the end of the bridge). This will drop the wolf into the chasm. Jump across to climb up the bridge.
