Becoming a Christlike leader, like becoming a Christlike anything else, requires a dedication to God and following his example. Christ's leadership style involved a lot setting a correct example and supporting his followers as they tried to live up to that example, while still leaving room for them to make their own choices.

Overall, I would say it is much like Stephen Covey's principle-centered leadership. At the center, there has to be personal integrity and trustworthiness, and eventually it leads to a group of people with shared values, traveling in the same direction, supporting each other. In order to get that kind of a group, you have to build trust and include people in making decisions and helping them be responsible and trusted, not just dictating things to them.
