from experience, i should know everything a parakid is and how to become one from a beginner.
1) get streaks in your hair or very bright coloured hair. e.g. red, blue, pink, yellow..
you can even have black.
2) wear dark makeup on your eyes. e.g. thick eyeliner, mascara, grey or black eyeshadow and a pale face either natural or with a bit of foundation. not too much!
3)wear bright bracelets to stand out.. the colours yellow, orange, blue, purple, pink, white, red, green.. try getting some jesus bracelets with the different saints on them.
4)dont care what people say! be determined to stay different and confident with what you wear.
5)make sure you fit in the para group otherwise you may have a hard time fitting in and be unique or people may think you are copying them.
6)have attitude, wear all your oufits with attitude and pride.
7)look up different types of stereotype like scene or indie but try not to be labelled as pathetic.
thanks:)
a parakid is a mixture of scene and indie. Paramore, the band, is indie and that is what para kids are named after. scene is a mixture of emo, mosher and chav. these parakids have no chav in them but are scene, indie, emo and mosher. to act like parakids you need to have streaks or brightly coloured hair, mainly dark eye makeup and pale faces, piercings or tattoos(occasional), big sunglasses, multi-coloured bracelets (new jesus bracelets work!) and attitude.. thats only a few things to follow by. by a parakid herself.
