A fork appears to bend underwater due to a phenomenon called refraction. When light passes from air into water, it changes speed and direction, causing objects submerged in water to appear displaced or distorted. This optical illusion makes the fork seem bent at the water's surface, even though it remains straight in reality.
A bending fork is a tool used in jewelry making to bend metal wire or sheet into specific shapes or angles. It provides support and leverage to help manipulate the metal without damaging it.

There is no spoon... ...but if there is, just bend it. Spoons usually aren't that thick and can be easily bent using just your hands. But if you bend too many spoons you're going to have to eat soup with a fork and that's not fun for anybody.

Not entirely clear what you're asking about here... 1) most bikes have forks that either curve forward or has the wheel sitting in forward facing tabs on the fork legs. This(often known as rake) together with the angle that the fork as a whole sits on is what makes the bicycle go straight forward when it's upright and turn when its leaned. A bicycle with the fork turned backwards can not be ridden hands off. 2) If you're in an accident and bend your fork, expect the bike to handle differently. If bent sideways the bike will not track properly, if bent straight back steering will be nervous and twitchy.
Bending a fork when using drugs, particularly in the context of cooking or preparing substances like heroin, is often done to create makeshift tools for heating or holding the drug. The bent fork can help stabilize a spoon or container, allowing for easier manipulation during the preparation process. Additionally, some individuals may believe that bending the fork adds an element of ritual or personal touch to the experience. However, it's important to recognize the risks and dangers associated with drug use.

http://www.motorbikespecs.net/index.dyn?flag=2&model_id=5833984&make=Yamaha says 366 cc of SAE10W oil per fork leg Haynes manual specifies 486cc of SAE10W per fork leg for early (3DB1) models and 495 cc SAE10W per fork leg for later (3RN1 onward) models If you're looking for levels, you'll need to make a dipstick out of some wire. Haynes says the levels are 175mm for early(3DB1) models and 165.5mm for later(3RN1 onwards) models. From reading the manual I understand this level is measured with the top cap off the fork, and the chrome slider fully pushed down into the fork leg.. Then bend the wire over at the top (to stop it dropping inside the fork) and measure from the bend, down 175/165.5 mm down the wire, and mark the wire (flatten it with pliers) and cut it off a bit further down. Now use like a normal car dipstick.
