Hi, It's a bummer where you've got this latest version of bluetooth when you can't really use it. You can't send or receive files via bluetooth on the IPod Touch. That's why you can't see a mobile phone or another IPod Touch on you connected devices list. Bluetooth on the IPod Touch is only in use when you play games with another person side by side, though, you can use 'BUMP' which is in the app store to share photos and pictures with another IPhone or IPod Touch, but not with ordinary mobile phones. Hope that helped. For any other questions, e-mail me at tony-z-1@hotmail.com

If you have jailbroken your iPod Touch, you are able to send an IPK through bluetooth. There are plenty of tutorials on how to do this on the internet.
