If it was installed properly there is no need to break it in.
i want to know if a new clutch was put in a 1990 geo storm can it break in half in two days just driving arount town
That year is NOT ajustable. It sounds like it is TIME for a NEW clutch. It may just be the clutch slave cylinder too. Check it first.
There is NO adjustment. It is adjusted automatically through the hydraulic slave cylinder. Probley time for a NEW clutch kit.
Just Drive It
The clutch master cylinder on a Chevy S10 is replaced by disconnecting the metal lines, unscrewing the retaining bolts, and removing it from the housing. A new master cylinder can then be put into place and reattached.
it depends on what kind of cluch you want to go with,at a Chevy dealership you can get a Toyota clutch or a chevey clutch. I had to put in a new clutch in my 96 prism and it was a Toyota and it costed me about 800
Either have air in your lines or you might need a new clutch plate.
The clutch release ("throw-out") bearing has gone bad...Use a new clutch disc when you replace the clutch release bearing...or it could be the clutch master cylinder. Check the master cylinder first...Look for any sign of leakage from either component .
I recently purchased a new clutch kit for a 1998 Prizm (which should be the same) from Oreilly Auto Parts for $99.00. This kit included the cluch plate, pressure plate and bearing. Hope that helps.
i think so a new chevy can surely fit one
all I need is what the color codes from the stock wire harnes to connect to the new one
If it has the stock oil pan on it, then it will hold 5 qts. with a new filter.
