how to break down a model j-22 with a image..... Remove the magazine, draw slide back, check chamber to insure pistol is not loaded. Pull trigger to release striker. Holding pistol so that you see the rear of the slide, use a ball point pen or similar item to push in on the round circle. Draw slide back slightly, lift rear of slide off frame, then move slide forward off the barrel. Striker and striker spring can be removed from slide now. DO NOT RECCOMEND STRIPPING ANY FURTHER. If you fail to release the striker before disassembly, the spring is going to hit you in the eye.
