First you want to spray only three inches of your hair, quickly brush it than spray that three inches with hair spray once more. Repeat until entire head of hair is sprayed/brushed.
The solvent in hair spray is typically alcohol. Alcohol helps dissolve the ingredients and allows the product to be sprayed evenly onto the hair. It evaporates quickly once applied, helping the hair spray to set and hold the hair in place.
Brushing your hair can create static electricity, especially if your hair is dry or if the brush is made of a material that promotes friction. The friction between the brush and your hair can cause electrons to be transferred, resulting in a build-up of static charge on your hair.
Common minerals found in hair spray include magnesium, calcium, and potassium. These minerals are often included in hair spray formulations to help provide hold and structure to the hair.
When you brush or comb your hair, some of the electrons from the hair are transferred to the brush or comb, giving them a negative charge. This leaves your hair with a positive charge, which creates static electricity.
Hair spray contains ingredients like alcohol and hydrocarbons which are highly flammable. When hair spray is sprayed, these flammable substances evaporate quickly and can easily catch fire when exposed to a flame or spark.

Believe it or not, FABRIC SOFTENER will detangle doll hair. Pour equal parts of fabric softener & water into a spray bottle and spray on the hair. Instant detangler and it won't damage the hair....plus, it'll smell nice too!
The way I untangle my hair is to use spray in conditioner. Instead of using conditioner in the shower I spray it on right after I get out and the comb my hair with a pick. My hair stays pretty untangled to whole day. If you get irritated with your hair in the middle of the day, keep a brush in your locker and brush your hair after recess or before lunch.
Isopropyl alcohol spray!! Spray between the tapes, separate them with a tail comb, spray more alcohol on them and brush out the glue.
When my hair is like that instead of straightening it I spray it with a water and conditioner mix and brush and brush and brush!
First of all if you have long hair you should be brushing your hair with a paddle brush. Brush out your hair completely. Then spray a good hairspray on your brush (hold the can 15cm away from it) and brush lightly through your hair. Spray every time you brush a section and this should help your hair stay untangled longer. I recommend using Loreal Elnett strong hold. ___________ This type of tangling in the hair is usually a sign of an overdue haircut. If the ends of the hair are healthy, these tangles would not be that much of an issue.
put conditioner in the tangle let it sit and brush it out
Abba Pure Style Spray provides medium to firm hold. It is reactivated with heat and water, so you can spray the product on damp hair and blow dry and still be able to brush your hair. It is also humidity resistant.
Spray with LOTS of water and brush from bottom to top
If a comb is stuck in your hair, try to cut little bits out of the comb, so it is easier to get the hair out. Get little pieces of hair out of the comb at a time. When the comb is out of your hair, your hair will be a little knotty so brush it out well. If you have detangling spray, spray that on your hair. This will work well.
