You can build a portable PS3 or Buy the kit that is sold. Power supply is still a problem because the PS3 requires too much for most batteries to be able to provide. It will not be a laptop because that is already a device with features not found on a PS3. It can be laptop size or Laptop like, but can not also include the laptop computer in running the PS3 games. The original PS3 is "technically" superior. But, the PS3 slim consumes less power, and is smaller. There isn't as much heat with the slim... Personally, I prefer the Original PS3 over the slim.
