How do you build a mountain board?

things you'll need:

• Mountain board wheel-set
• 1.5inch risers for skateboard trucks
• Nylon strapping
• Drill
• 1/2 inch screws
• Skateboard
• Phillips head screwdriver
• Socket wrenches

     Use the screwdriver to remove the truck screws holding the trucks on the skateboard. Use the socket wrenches to remove the current street wheels from the trucks.

     Position the 1.5inch risers on the board over the truck holes and then position trucks over the risers. Insert the truck bolts and tighten down the mounting bolts with the socket wrench.

     Slide each of the mountain board wheels on the trucks and then tighten down the axle nuts with the socket wrench. Turn the board over and position your feet on top of the board as if you were riding it. Make a mark on 1/2 inch on either side of each of your feet and then use the drill to drill holes in these locations.

     Cut two lengths of nylon strap that will comfortably, but snuggly fit over your shoes if each end was mounted flat to the ground. Use the 1/2 inch bolts to attach each end of the two nylon straps to the deck of the skateboard. To use the board simply climb to the top of the hill or mountain that you are going to ride, slide your feet in the straps, and then "skate" down the hill!
