You can do four things: you can buy an Almost Ready to Fly model kit, which is all put together except for the wings (this so they can put it in a long skinny box instead of a square one), put the wings and tail on, and go flying. The advantage is you can get the plane in the air quick. The disadvantages are that they're expensive and just putting the wings on with rubber bands isn't really "making" the plane. you can buy a kit and build the plane from it. The advantages are (1) the parts are precut (2) you get more of a sense of accomplishment and pride than if you'd have bought an ARF plane and (3) someone, somewhere, has already put one of these together and flown it so you know it'll fly. Disadvantages include that it takes longer to build one of these than an ARF, and you have to put it together right or it won't fly. you can buy a set of plans and cut the parts yourself. The advantages are (1) you get even more pride of workmanship, (2) it's less expensive this way and (3) if you know how to modify a plane, it's easier if you start out with raw sheets of balsa. The disadvantage is you REALLY have to know how to cut balsa very precisely. you can design your own plane. The major advantage here is no one else will have a plane like yours unless you start selling the plans. The major disadvantage is you have to teach yourself aeronautical engineering to do it.

There are many ways to build a remote control airplane. Most airplanes require user installation of the electronics and the motor/engine and fuel system. Ready to fly models require very little structural setup. Kit planes have pre cut pieces and require gluing and covering the structure. There are some fanatics who design and build their own planes. This is not recommended as the center of gravity needs to be placed in the right place, the wings have to be positioned at a correct angle and the right engine needs to be used. Along with this, the wings, fuselage and the tail need to be designed correctly.
This cite here explains how to put together an RC Airplane from scratch or from an RC Plane kit. The instructions being told here are from someone with 30 years experience and has answered common questions about how to build an RC plane. Here is the cite that would assist you in this: http://howtomakercairplanes.com/

if you're a beginner, DO NOT build a jet, as they are MUCH too hard to fly! For a beginner, the slow trainer in the link is perfect!

RC Helicopter
Sorry, but no.
It really depends on the RC Helicopter. I had a very small helicopter that made very little noise, but my new (and significantly larger) RC copter makes a fair amount of noise. Most RC Helicopter make a buzzing sort of noise, that is reasonably loud. The volume depends on the size, how high it is going, how fast, and what manoeuvres.
You should take a look at the Cobra 3 Channel Remote Control Gyroshark RC Helicopter and the 3 Channel Apache RC Helicopter. These are great RC helicopters to start with.
The Airwolf RC is a Helicopter RC that uses a big chopper wing at the top to help lift the Airwolf RC Helicopter to let the motorized helicopter fly.
make your blades out of carbon fibre
No, you can only get an RC Helicopter in the presents while, you're taking a walk.
Yes
There are several different types of RC helicopters. The "best" model depends on whether you are looking for a smaller, rechargeable version, or a large, monster RC helicopter. For a small helicopter, models by Syma tend to have good reviews; for a larger model, the Blade brand tends to make many models.
You might be able to fine a Walkera Dragonfly Helicopter in a specialty store that deals with RC items. You can definately find this RC helicopter in online stores.
