From most gem stores, you can only buy gems that you sold them first - at a loss. The only exception is the gem store in the monkey colony. This one requires the quest "Do No Evil". It only stocks one sapphire and one emerald, and takes a while to recharge (the typical time is 24 hours for most stores, but I didn't try it out with this one), so it isn't worth very much. It definitely isn't a good way to make money, but if you did the quest, and happen to be in the area, you might buy one emerald and one sapphire at 50 coins each.
To cut gems on runescape you must have a chisel, and use the chisel on the gem. also, you need the required craftig level to cut the gem. hope that helps =]
I think you get gems by playing Sableye's Gem Journey
There are no 50 Gem Codes in circulation for now. At one point, there were 30 Gem Codes that were quickly shut down. Just use 10 Gem Weekly Codes, or buy some gems to get 50! A good site to get codes from is: http://ourWorld-Guide.com
It is not possible to obtain onyx gems easily; they can be bought in the TzHaar city from the gem and ore store, obtained as a reward from the Fight Kiln minigame, rewarded from a challenge mystery bag, looted from a Kingly impling (rare), or mining with a gem-finding scrimshaw.
RuneScape gems are most commonly "found" on the Grand Exchange in Varrock in RuneScape. At the Grand Exchange, all the tradeable gems can be exchanged at market price easily and quickly. Gems can also be obtained through monster drops, completing quests, and while training the mining skill. Pay to play players can also mine Gem Rocks which will yield 1 gem per rock when mined, but the rocks are usually very full and only players with high mining levels will actually be able to obtain any gems at all.
No, it is the opposite. When you clear the gem box, it gives you gems. You usually get about 25 gems each time.
